The SGC candidacy window opens February 2, 2026. Interested individuals can complete the Candidate Declaration Form for a 2-year term (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028). The declaration period closes on March 27, with voting scheduled for April. Learn more on the FCS School Governance Council website.

SAT Scores 2024

Fulton County Schools (FCS) students once again surpassed both state and national averages on the SAT, marking the eighth consecutive year of this achievement. For the class of 2024, FCS students recorded a mean total score of 1063, outpacing the Georgia average by 33 points and the national average by 68 points.

FCS Board Logo

The Fulton County Board of Education will meet for a working retreat on Tuesday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Board may adjourn into executive session following the discussion topics. They will then convene for public vote, if needed, on executive session items immediately after executive session.

The retreat will be held at North Learning Center, 450 Northridge Parkway, Sandy Springs, Ga. 30350.
